Is there something you wish you had learned how to do as a child?
No, not really.  As a child I was a dabbler.  I did a little bit of everything.  Gymnastics, dance, piano, basketball...you get the idea..

Who has been the biggest influence on your life?
My Mother.  The fact that she passed away when I was little influenced everything from my wanting kids as soon as possible to my anxiety to my fear of losing people I love and my fear of people leaving me.  My kids have had a huge impact on who I am, they changed everything about me, and the way I view the world.

What is your greatest dream/hope/aspiration?
To raise my boys to be gentlemen!  If I raise them to be good, content people with morals who care about the world and have faith then I'll be happy!

Do you believe you have reached your potential?  Why/why not?
No, I don't believe anyone has.  Because we grow from each experience, we change and we learn, at least I think we're supposed to.  I know that I'm only 24 years old, so I haven't become the best person I can be yet.  I still have the temper of a reality show contestant with everyone but my kids and my husband, and I'm working on that among other things about myself.






1. If you were to win an award today, what would it be for?  Being a super hawt mama?  Yeah, I'll go with that.  ;)
2. What is your shoe style?  It really depends.  The shoes I like most are edgy, sexy and sometimes a little bit slutty.  I'm a woman who loves heels.  The higher the better, I don't like chunky heels just as a general rule, but sometimes there are exceptions to that, but generally I have an unnatural obsession with prefer stilettos.  I have since I was 9 or so.  I also love boots, boots are one of my favorite items in the world to purchase...I love them even more when I can combine two obsessive loves of mine and buy boots with a stiletto heel.  In the summer I wear sandals, but I only wear really really flat sandals, because it is my opinion that really really flat sandals look more chic than chunky sandals or flip flops. If I have to wear anything other than stilettos, boots or my sandals then I will wear Chuck Taylor All Stars, only high tops though and I love them too.   I do own one pair of Vans, and they are cute, but they just don't do it for me, I'm a 6 inch heel kinda girl I'll wear them with dresses, jeans, skirts, shorts and to ball games, shows, concerts, the grocery store...It's kinda my thing.
3  Does your car reflect your personality? Other than the fact that it has dark glittery green paint, no.hjgjuhrhr
4. If you could take over someones body for a day..whose would you choose? My husband.  Maybe my son's so that everyone would have to do stuff for me! Or maybe Oprah's so that I got give my husband a couple of hundred million as a donation to his family!  Yeah, I think I would go with the latter.
5. Love or be loved?  Love.  I love to love, what can I say!  I enjoy being loved as well, and I really enjoy the small things my husband does to show me his love, but it is much more rewarding when you're the one doing the small things.
6. If you were on death row, what last meal would you choose? Fried chicken, baked macaroni and cheese, masked potatoes, collard greens, cornbread and milk, boiled cabbage, fried potatoes, banana pudding, apple pie and brownies.  Oh, and sweet tea with lemon!
7. Have you been on vacation this Summer, if so where? Nope.  
8. What is your favorite food related guilty pleasure? I don't really have one.  Although I do like to watch my reality tv with a snack, it's usually oriental ramen noodles or frosted mini wheats.

Getting to know Me!

1. Thong or Granny Panties?  Honestly, I generally don't do undies...unless...well you know, at least you do if you have girly bits anyway.  I prefer g-strings and thongs if I'm wearing a skirt or a dress though, no panty lines for this girl.  Boyshorts are nice too, cause they're lacy and sexy and they make your booty look amazing!

2. If you see a guy with his fly down, do you tell him?  Yeah I do, because I would want to know.

3. Spanx or no Spanx?  No spanx.  I don't need them, I'm 24 and I'm pretty hot if I do say so myself!  I'd wear them if I was older or I needed them though, I'm all about looking as amazing as you can, even if you have to have a little help!

4. Do you sleep in your sheets?  I sleep on the fitted sheet.  My husband hates the top sheet, so we usually don't use it.  I like to use it in the summer though, and not use a blanket at all.

5. What is your favorite Disney character?  Snow White!  I'm also fond of Tinkerbell and Tow Mater and Lightning McQueen from Cars! 

6. Dream vacation spot?  Itally, Greece, England or France! 

7. What is your dream job?  Keep in mind that my dream job changes a lot.  Right now my dream job would be working with abused women and children.  I wouldn't mind having an office job, because I love to dress up and wear heels and it would give me an excuse to go shopping for clothes and shoes.  I'd really love to run a home daycare too!

8. Who is your hero and why?  My Mommy!

Yay!  I've been waiting to do this and Monday Minute since I got back to bloggy land!  I missed Fawk You Friday last week, and that made me sad.  So here are the latest questions from Keely's amazing blog MannLand5!


1. If you had to choose a country to live in besides USA (or the country you live in), which would it be?  England or Italy.  I love the idea of living in England, because I am obsessed with everything English and I am obsessed with Henry VIII, all of his wives and his children, so to walk past the tower of London and these other places where these people were would be amazing to me!  I think Italy is probably one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen, and I would love to live there for a while!
 
2. Which would be worse, wearing flip flops in the snow or wearing gloves in the summer?  Wearing flip flops in the snow.  Trust me people, I've done it before.  Don't ask.
 
3. Fried or Bake and why?  I'm Southern, so I love me some fried food. However for health reasons I don't fry anything except potatoes every two weeks for my husband, I do  this for health reasons.
 
4. If you were an entertainment reporter, which celeb would you love to interview and why?  I would love to interview the Karsashian sisters.  I fully believe that Khloe, Kourtney and I were separated at birth, aside from the fact that I obviously do not share their genes being so pale that I glow and having bright blue eyes and all, I am however unbelievably curvy for someone who is only 5 foot 3.5 inches. lol  
 
5. What was your favorite book as a preteen/teenager?  Gone With The Wind, Anything by Charles Dickens or Jane Austen, The Bell Jar, Gulliver's Travels, Sex and the City, The Diary of Anne Frank.  I have never had just one favorite book, even as a 5 year old. 
 
6. List your top 3 guilty pleasure television shows.  Gossip Girl, The Secret Life of the American Teenager and Pretty Little Liars  
 
7. What bumper sticker slogan best describes you/your attitude/your life?  Life is what happens to you while you are planning to do something else. 
 
8. If you were to join a circus - what performer would you be?  I would want to do the ribbon dancing thing.  Like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=McdvThXr1Pg  I think I would be really good at that actually.  Now I want to go learn to do it.

Getting to know me Sunday!

1. If a person has a booger in their nose. and you can see it, do you tell them?  If I know them then yes, if I don't then no.  I'm not a people person, so if I don't know you then I'm probably not close enough to notice!
2. What are you passionate about?  My kids!  I love my boys!  I'm also passionate about being as "green" as I possibly can be, my goal is to leave the smallest carbon footprint possible.  Eating healthy, and working out.  Yes, that comes in last.
3. How long have you been blogging?  Here?  For a little over a month.
4. What is your favorite "summer" drink? Iced Tea!  Actually I drink sweet tea all year round. 
5. What is your favorite type of music?  Dax Riggs, punk, Dax Riggs, screamo, Dax Riggs, metal, Dax Riggs, rap, Dax Riggs, Johnny Cash, Dax Riggs, a little of everything, Dax Riggs, Acid Bath, Dax Riggs, Deadboy and the Elephantmen, Dax Riggs, Agents of Oblivion Dax Riggs....yeah, you get the point, I obsessively listen to all things Dax Riggs.  All of the listed bands, aside from Mr. Cash of course, have Dax Riggs fronting them.  I am a huge fan.  I wonder how many times I just said Dax Riggs in this answer?
6. Something I do before I go to bed is......? Put on my jammies, take off my makeup....
7. My Summer vacation plans are...? I want to go to the beach, I don't know if my husband will get the time off though.
8. My favorite must have, can't live without, beauty product is?  Foundation and Mascara.

Attention whoring and such...

Since this is a getting to know you type of thing I would like to take this opportunity to be an attention whore and scream look at me, look at me for a second.
We were at the park this evening, and though I'm usually not in the photos around here since I'm the one taking the pictures my best friend in the world for like ever, Kristy, decided to take some photos of me.  So..yeah, look at me, look at me.

1.  Have you ever snooped around someone else's house?
Well yeah, I think everyone has.  I think people by nature are extremely curious and/or nosy...however you want to look at it.

2. Can guys and girls be friends? ( thanks Jen!)
Of course!  Most of my friends are guys actually.  A good deal of them are gay guys actually, I can't help it and I didn't intentionally set out to be a "hag" it just kinda happened.  Oh well, I'm fabulous, my friends are fabulous, it's all good.  (;

3. Can you curl your tongue?
I sure can.

4. Have you ever stolen anything?
Yes.  I'm no Winona by far, but I have stolen things in the past.

5. Would you rather talk on the phone or text?
I'd rather talk, but I was very textually active before I ditched my cell a few months ago to save money.

6. Memorial Day plans?
We're taking the baby loves to the park again.  My friend Sarah is supposed to be coming over and tagging along as well, should be a nice day.

7. What do you do to relax?
I read.  In the bathtub.  I don't get a lot of time to myself, being a wife and the mother to two young boys I barely get any time alone at all, I do take a really long bath each night though when my husband is home.  That really helps me to relax and regroup.

8. Do you do anything to honor those that have died fighting for our freedom?
No, not really formally.  I do admire and have a great amount of respect for our troops, past and present.

Getting to know you Sunday

This is my second time doing Getting to know you Sunday! This is one of my favorite blog carnivals to post! So here are my questions for today:

1. The most expensive thing hanging in my closet is.....? Bags or shoes. I'm a sucker for a nice bag or an amazing pair of shoes! They're two of the only things I'm willing to spend a good deal of money on, because no matter how much baby weight I gain and no matter if I get pregnant with twins tomorrow I can still wear my accessories.

2. Have you ever played a team sport? When I was younger I played T Ball and Basketball. I played T Ball when I was in Kindergarten and First grade and Basketball when I was in Fourth and Fifth grade. Other than that I just did dance and gymnastics.

3. If you were a bug, what kind would you be? I would be an animated bug in a movie. ;) They're so much cuter than real bugs! Hopefully my answer counts because technically that would just make me the voice of a bug.


4. Where on your body is the worst place to get sunburned? (thanks Ian) I got a horrid sum burn on my nose one Summer when we went to Virginia Beach! It was horrible, I had a blister on my nose and everything. It was so uncomfortable. I use lots of sun block now though, and have for several years. I don't like to tan, and I'm actually pretty partial to the color my skin is without tanning, so I have no inclination to tan.

5. Are you happy? Extremely! The only thing that could make me any happier is if we got ten million dollars in the mail and then the next day I found out I was pregnant with twin girls. (= I'm at a really good place right now in my life, and I'm just so happy with my family. I have two beautiful baby loves, a wonderful husband who treats me like a princess and the best friends that I could ask for. So, what's not to be happy about, right?

6. People are always abbreviating..are there any abbreviations that make your skin crawl when people use them? Not really. It took me forever to figure out that smh means shake my head. haha

7. Do you love where you live..or could you live anywhere? I don't love it here at all. We're planning a move to Tennessee in the next year or two. I'm very excited about that!

8. What, if any, extreme measures do you go to to keep yourself from overeating when you're full? I don't go to extreme measures. I try to keep myself full by eating five to six small meals and snacks a day. So, I don't eat when I'm really full. I drink a lot of water as well.

Getting to know you Sunday!

Sooo...I'm doing this new thing, new to me anyway. It's called Getting to know you Sunday, only it was posted on Saturday this week because of Mothers Day. Since I go up with the baby man, and now can't get back to sleep, I might as well entertain myself, right?




1. What has been your most memorable Mother's Day? (with your mom, as a mom, or with your wife) The one thing that I remember most about my Mothers Days with my Mommy was that we always used to buy her the same thing every year. I always loved making her things at school. She passed away when I was 5 years old, and I miss her terribly on Mothers Day, as well as most other days of the year.

My favorite Mothers Day as a Mommy myself would have to be last year. It was just so wonderful having Aiden, and he was 2 years old. I was pregnant with the baby. We just had a great day. My Daddy took us all out and then he and my Husband let me go on a shopping spree and get anything I wanted. I ended up with a ton of clothes, I'm not sure why I bought clothes..I was pregnant so it's not like I needed that many and I only used them for 5 months after that, and a big bottle of Victoria Beckham's perfume. Then we all went out to eat. (=

2. Have you ever been pulled over for speeding and were you able to talk your way out of it?
Surprisingly no. I've been pulled over for a number of other things though.

3. What's the oldest thing you have hanging in your closet?
Oh gosh! I keep EVERYTHING! I have my prom dress from my senior prom, which was in 2003. I kept that because I designed it and had it made. My Wedding dress from 2005. I have stuff from 2001 and 2002 in there. (=

4. Do you whiten your teeth?
I use a whitening toothpaste actually, and mouth wash that is supposed to have the same affect.

5. Underwear or Panties..What do you call your "unmentionables"?
I call them by various names, undies, panties, underwear, draws(haha) etc. Pretty much any name for anything of that nature I will use as the mood strikes.

6. If you could go on vacation right now..today..where would you go?
Romania. I've just always wanted to go to Romania and Hungary...I really can't explain it. It's like a weird obsession. I have a thing for History, I'm really interested in Elzabet Bathory and Vald Tempest, as well as Henry VIII. So it would either be Romania and Hungary or England.

Now that I think about it, maybe I should go somewhere warmer like Greece.

7. Do you get offended when people cuss on their blogs?
No. I honestly have a mouth like a sailor. I tone it down on here as to not offend, and I've honestly gotten used to not using curse words because of my big boy. If I used them at home as much as I think them in my head...oh my lord, Aiden would have a mouth only a mother could love. (= So, I've been trying my very very best to nor curse anyway.

8. If you had to give up one luxury item, it would be....?
Wow! Hmmm...This is tough. I do love my things. I would say DirecTV, but then I would have a very unhappy 3 year old come batman hour.

Okay, I am so beyond stumped. I guess it would have to be the TV. We have Netflix, wait would Netflix count? I'm going with that. Netflix. lol
