To my Dearest Justin, regarding the day of my birth

Dear Justin,

Don't worry, this isn't an angry letter.  I'm not going to verbally decapitate you in public or anything.  It's a nice letter, one that you'll appreciate my having written in a week or so, trust me!  Since it's almost my birthday, I thought it might be a nice idea to write you a 'What does Ashlee want for her 25th Birthday reference guide!'  I know, I know....I'm so sweet!  You don't have to tell me, really, I'm just trying to help you babe.  As you know, I take an entire week for my birthday, oh by the way I just found out that my big sisters daughter takes the whole month/week too, weird huh?  Anyway, since I like to celebrate for the entire month of my birth but really tend to just focus on the week of that all important day, I want you to know that I don't expect a small gift each day of the week and a big gift on my birthday.  Really, it's not necessary!

What you can do for me is get me just a bunch of small stuff to be given to me on the actual day of my birth.  How is this different from giving me a small gift each day and a big gift on my birthday?  It just is, trust me...it is!  I don't want to be an inconvenience, so I thought it would be better for you to just give them to me all at once.  This is an important birthday you know.  I'm half way through my twenties as of 3rd September.  That's a big deal to me, so the pressure is on for you to deliver this year.  Yep, that's right, I'm turning up the heat on you...or something like that.  So, have you thought about what to get me yet?




If you haven't gotten my gifts already and hidden them, which you haven't because I've already looked everywhere, then I have some ideas for you.  You don't have to get me all of it, but you don't have to not get me all of it if you want to.  I'm not going to stop you if you want to, I mean I would never deprive you the joy of getting me every single thing that I have on my 'I want this for my Birthday!' list or anything, God!  How selfish would that be of me?  Depriving you of something that would make you happy like that.  You know that's not my style.  If it makes you happy to buy it all, and you want to do that, then I'm not going to tell you that you can't do what makes you happy.  I don't want you to resent me for it.

So you can get me the Cupid's Bow Lip Shaper, the Realness of Concealness kit, the Brows a Go-Go shaping kit, and the Georgia face powder all of which are from Benefit!  And since we're already on the subject of cosmetics I could also use the Viva Glam Gaga Lipstick and the 1 Lash from MAC.  The Mossimo Black Volume Back Trench Coat and the Xhilaration Faux Leather Moto Jacket with Zipper Trim in black, the Black Lace dress from the same brand, which are both from Target. If you don't want to buy me those then I have another one on my list as well, so you could always get me the Long Sleeve Motorcycle Jacket with Zip from Rue 21!  Should you want to go with shoes I could totally use these Bisou Bisou "Trista" boots or these Candies Platform Ravenna boots or even these Candies Yunnis Peep-Toe Platforms, and since I can never pick just two or three pairs of shoes I also like the Slouchy Belted Cuff Boots, in Beige and these Slouchy Suede Tie Boots, I prefer them in grey but I could live with black, all by Charlotte Russe.  Or if you could find me the Charlotte Russe Grey Peep Toe Boots With Buckles, which I can't find, then I would just be oh so happy!

Other things I would enjoy receiving for my 25th birthday include, but are not limited to, this Pleat-Front Side Cinch Satchel from Charlotte Russe, the Strapless Floral Bubble Dress to go with one of my jackets or the All-Over Lace Tank or any of the lace shirts really, in grey, black or champagne or even the Lace Doily Scarf all by Charlotte Russe as well.  And since we're on the subject of Charlotte Russe babe, I am also really feeling this top in grey and black combo and this skirt!  I also really like this bracelet, surprisingly in gold, this necklace, this necklace, this necklace and this ring from Forever 21.  Also, I really like this dress, these jeans, these jeans, and this top in black and white, which are all from Forever 21 as well.  I could also use some of those white tees that I like from American Apparel, you know the ones I'm talking about, right?

Remember baby, this is just a helpful guide of obvious subtle yet well placed hints, so don't think I'm giving you some kind of list to go from or anything!  I love you...cherish you...adore you!
