When you get this award then you also get ten questions to answer, so here are the ten questions that Bonnie asked me and my answers!
1. Why do you blog?
This is a really good question. I blog for quite a few reasons. I blog because I enjoy writing and because I enjoy hearing what people have to say about what I write. I blog because I love my kids and that means I love to talk about them and post photos of them. I like hearing what other Mommies have to say about questions that I may have about my boys or something having to do with them. I blog because I like the sense of community, feeling connected to other Mommies out there. I also blog because I like to try new products, and doing reviews and giveaways on my blog allows me to try new products more often. I want to be able to allow my readers to try new products as well, which is why I am going to be offering giveaways on my blog. I like the idea of letting people know about a product or service, and I like being able to give my opinion on it.
2. What is your favorite restaurant?
This is a tough one for me. I live in a very small town, so we don't have a lot around here. My favorite that we have around this area though would probably be Garfields. They have the absolute best cheese fries and they are to die for! They also have really good steak and baked potatoes. Since I have changed my diet and no longer eat that kind of food I would have to say Ruby Tuesday. They have amazing salads there, and they offer very yummie options that fit in well with my diet, and I am addicted to their mashed cauliflower.
3. How long have you known your best friend?
I have a couple different best friends. The one I have known the longest lives on the other side of the country now because her husband is in the service. I have known her since I was in the sixth grade. I met her the first day I moved here and started at that school. We both looked at each other and out of nowhere we said "Hey, I like Michael Jackson" at the exact same time, if that random statement doesn't tell you that our friendship was meant to be then I don't know what would! Keep in mind that I am only 24 years old, so when I was in sixth grade it wasn't exactly considered cool to listen to Michael Jackson, nor was he all that popular then.
My other Bestie I have known since I was in ninth grade, though she didn't become my best friend until my eleventh grade year! She has been there for me through everything and then some, she is an amazing person.
Then there is the best friend who I've known since sixth grade as well, but back then I knew him as my friends annoying little brother. He's fabulous!
4. If there is one place in the world you could travel to if money was no object, where would you go?
Romania! I would also love to go to Greece, England and France!
5. Have you ever been outside of the United States? If you have, where have you been?
No I haven't. I have a sister that lives in California. We almost went to Mexico while visiting her one year, but we decided not to go. I really wish that we had though.
6. What did you want to be as a child growing up?
I wanted to be a lawyer/singer when I was a little girl. Then, as you all have already read about here, I decided I wanted to be a Playboy model when I was 7 after finding a mag that my brother had stashed.
7. What is your biggest accomplishment so far in life?
Being a good mother and having my children, hands down. When I got pregnant with my first son I changed my life completely. I am a better person because of them. I am the woman I am today because I had them, and changing my life completely for them was the best thing I could have ever accomplished!
8. Have you heard about the Ethan Stacy case? What are your thoughts on it?
I have. I think it's so tragic, and I can not understand how anyone could do that to a four year old boy. I think that those people are sick, and that woman is NOT a mother, because a mother will protect her children at all costs and she didn't even say anything to him. The step-father beat that baby for days, DAYS. That's a disgusting action, and I am just sick over this. People are crazy. Anyone that could literally beat the life out of an innocent four year old baby boy isn't even a human being, he's a monster. Any woman that could just sit idly by and let him without even one word of protest is worse than that, because she was supposed to love and protect him and she did not do that. I think that jail is too good for people like these. That poor baby. )=
9. Who do you admire?
I admire my Mommy. She was an amazing Mama and a wonderful woman. She did everything or our whole family. I love her so much and miss her daily. I am sorry that she will never get to know my Baby Loves, she would have been an amazing Nana! She was such a strong woman!
10. What is your favorite television show?
I love Dexter, True Blood, The Tudors, Gossip Girl and The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Those are my favorites! I also like a ton of Reality Shows!
Now, I have to make up ten questions for the bloggers that I pass this on to to answer!
1.) Why do you blog?
2.) What are your three best memories?
3.) If you had to change your real name, what would you change it to?
4.) What are 5 things you can't live without?
5.) What are the 4 best books you have ever read?
6.) Tell me something unique & interesting about yourself?
7.) What do you love about yourself?
8.) What is the best movie ever made?
9.) If you have a Freaky Friday experience who would you want to trade places with and why?
10.) What's the best part about being a woman?
