Fawk You Friday

It's Friday again, which means that I will be participating in my usual Friday blog activities, minus one of course.  In case you haven't heard Ashley (aka The Crazy Brunette) decided to quit blogging.  I know, I'm sad about it too.  I'm just glad that I can still keep in touch with her through Facebook and E-mail because if she had just vanished into thin air then I just wouldn't have known what to do, I believe I would have just cried myself to sleep every night.  You have to picture me saying that in my best sugary sweet Scarlett O'Hara Southern voice to understand it's full weight and impact.  That probably has something to do with why Ashley didn't disappear completely.  No one wants to see a pretty girl cry, it's just wrong!

To Ashley, we all miss your blog & your Blog Stalk Friday as well as all you had done for our little community of bloggers here.  I prefer Ashley to CB any day though, and am very proud of you for making a hard decision and throwing in the towel.  I hope to one day see you back in the blogosphere as Ashley, without any other persona or mask to hide behind, you're far too fabulous to be taking on an online persona and posting as only part of yourself while hiding the other wonderful parts of your personality and who you are away.  Everyone loved CB, but all of those who know you love Ashley even more.  You're an amazingly loyal wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend.  I'm glad to have "met" you and am proud to call you (Ashley) my friend!  Long story short -- You're the shit, bitch!

Now, onto Fawk You Friday with two of my favorite bitches Jana from Boobies Babies & a Blog and Christy from I'm Just Sayin'!
You two better not leave me, because I really don't know what I would do without Fawk You Friday to list the things that piss me off each week!

Wordless Wednesday

I was sitting here wondering what to do for Wordless Wednesday today.  Then I decided to go with a theme of edited photos of the love of my life and myself!  So here ya go, edited photos of my husband and myself.

Attention whoring and such...

Since this is a getting to know you type of thing I would like to take this opportunity to be an attention whore and scream look at me, look at me for a second.
We were at the park this evening, and though I'm usually not in the photos around here since I'm the one taking the pictures my best friend in the world for like ever, Kristy, decided to take some photos of me.  So..yeah, look at me, look at me.

And so, as they say, on to the next one...

It's that time of the week again!  Yay!  Since I love answering questions I'm genuinely excited about it.  Wanna answer them too?  Click the photo up top there and you can go get them, or you can just read and poke around Keely's awesome blog.  So here goes...

1.  Have you ever snooped around someone else's house?
Well yeah, I think everyone has.  I think people by nature are extremely curious and/or nosy...however you want to look at it.

2. Can guys and girls be friends? ( thanks Jen!)
Of course!  Most of my friends are guys actually.  A good deal of them are gay guys actually, I can't help it and I didn't intentionally set out to be a "hag" it just kinda happened.  Oh well, I'm fabulous, my friends are fabulous, it's all good.  (;

3. Can you curl your tongue?
I sure can.

4. Have you ever stolen anything?
Yes.  I'm no Winona by far, but I have stolen things in the past.

5. Would you rather talk on the phone or text?
I'd rather talk, but I was very textually active before I ditched my cell a few months ago to save money.

6. Memorial Day plans?
We're taking the baby loves to the park again.  My friend Sarah is supposed to be coming over and tagging along as well, should be a nice day.

7. What do you do to relax?
I read.  In the bathtub.  I don't get a lot of time to myself, being a wife and the mother to two young boys I barely get any time alone at all, I do take a really long bath each night though when my husband is home.  That really helps me to relax and regroup.

8. Do you do anything to honor those that have died fighting for our freedom?
No, not really formally.  I do admire and have a great amount of respect for our troops, past and present.

Wordful Wednesday

Wordful Wednesday is hosted by Seven Clown Circus!

This is a journey in photos, I'm just a Mommy trying to capture the much sought after perfect sibling picture. I am starting to wonder if such a thing even exists outside of the professional photography studios. My theory is that the people that do this for a living and can actually achieve this goal are either practicing some form of sorcery or have some sort of magical pixie dust that they use.

We'll start off with Photo Session number one.

(Hmmm...it seems that Aiden has said or done something that was quite a surprise to Jagger.)

You see, Aiden takes great pictures alone. He even takes great pictures with Jagger.

Since that didn't work out, I decided to head outside with my three men and see if I could, by some miracle, finally capture the coveted perfect photo of more than one child!

Here we will jump to Photo Session number 4. Yes, that's right there were two other sessions in between here, one more inside the house and another outside.

I think Baby J would have been more than willing to keep posing for the photos, if his brother and Daddy hadn't decided to start a game of football.

(My baby love is trying to crawl here!)

(This is what determination looks like. I bet you didn't know that determination was this cute, did ya? ;)

As you can see Jag photographs well also, and he looks adorable in the photos with Aiden. It's just that I can never seem to take a good picture of the two of them together. Someone is always looking off to the side, making a silly face, sneezing or about to cry.

I did realize something from this though. I love each and every one of these pictures of my children, even the ones I didn't pick out to post here today. While they may not be your classically frame worthy photos, I bet at least a few of them will make it up on my walls, desk or night stand. (=

What is your secret to capturing the cutest photos of your children together?
